Marijuana’s True Impact on Colorado: A Symposium

By October 5, 2017Uncategorized

Hello readers!

Alas, there is something positive happening that shows that not everyone in Colorado is okay with the commercialization of marijuana.

The event, “Marijuana’s True Impact on Colorado: A Symposium at Colorado Christian University” is evidence that we are not alone in our challenging of the status quo. The symposium is centered around these  topics.

“With the legalization of medical marijuana in 2000 and recreational marijuana in 2012, Colorado has felt the true impact of marijuana on our health care, law enforcement, in the workplace, and with our youth. Join the Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University to hear from law enforcement, education, medical, public policy, and family health experts who have experienced the effects of marijuana legalization first hand. The day culminates with a lively debate between Jeff Hunt, Director of Centennial Institute, and Robert Corry of Corry & Associates.”

The event is tomorrow, October 6th from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm at  8787 W. Alameda  Lakewood, CO 80226

It is great to see Jeff Hunt bringing his leadership to this space; as from the first blog I wrote, leadership is something that this side of the issue could especially benefit from. I am also humbly excited to be speaking on a couple of panel sessions at the symposium.

I look forward to hopefully meeting many of you at the event and seeing some familiar faces.
